Receipts preserve the ordinary transactions of a life as it was lived.
Originally created as records of individual purchases, they became part of the Human Archive because they quietly documented where Seth Dager was, what he was doing, and how daily life unfolded across different places and periods of time.
Most were never intentionally saved.
They remained.
Together, they form an unexpected record of movement, routine, travel, and return.
The archive preserves them not for what was purchased, but for the life that surrounded each transaction.
