Created continuously across different years, places, and stages of the practice, these photographs document the artist not as a subject of portraiture, but as a participant within the archive he was building.
Clothing changes.
Hair changes.
Objects change.
Environments change.
Relationships appear and disappear.
The photographs preserve those changes without directing them.
No single image defines the subject.
Together, they document the gradual continuity of a life observed over time.
The archive does not preserve a fixed identity.
It preserves a person continually becoming.
