Antoine Sunset

Antoine Sunset preserves the final eight minutes of a sunset in continuous sequence.

On January 12, 2026, while Antoine was in flight from Paris to Indianapolis, I sent him a photograph of the sunset from The Rigley Field and told him he was missing a good one.

Unable to share the sunset itself, I began recording it instead.

Between 17:52 and 18:01, 110 sequential photographs were made from the same location overlooking The Rigley Field in Nashville, Indiana.

Each image preserves the exact conditions under which it was captured through its accompanying metadata, including time, location, camera settings, and recording information.

Each photograph is a complete archival fragment.

No two are identical.

Together, they preserve the final eight minutes of a sunset that could not be experienced from the same place at the same time.
