Wen’s Arrival
Wen’s Arrival preserves an unintended sequence in continuous order.
Photographed on March 23, 2026, following Wen’s arrival at Indianapolis International Airport for his first visit to The Rigley Field, the series begins after the camera was returned to the artist’s bag and continued recording unintentionally.
Over the following eighty-two photographs, the camera preserved light, movement, color, and partial forms without direct observation, recording the passage of time from within the bag itself.
Each image preserves the exact conditions under which it was captured through its accompanying metadata, including time, location, camera settings, and recording information.
Each photograph is a complete archival fragment.
Together, the sequence preserves an event that was never intentionally observed, yet was faithfully recorded.
