Daily Punches

These photographs record a daily observational practice.

From a fixed position, the camera moves through five focal distances — beginning wide and gradually tightening toward a single point. The sequence repeats the same structural movement each day, producing a small field of images anchored to the same environment.

The photographs do not seek new subjects.

They return to the same ones.

Over time, the accumulation of these sequences records subtle shifts in light, space, and presence, while preserving the discipline of looking itself.

The work is not about a moment.

It is about the act of returning to it.
